The Big Cardiff Tidy 2024 ran for two weeks. During which time volunteers across Cardiff came out to help clean up our city.
The campaign aimed to get as many volunteers involved as possible. Individual volunteers’ community groups, schools and businesses were all invited to take part.
Keep Wales Tidy led the campaign. Cardiff Rivers and the Love Where You Live Team supported it.
It was a great success!
Over the two weeks there were:
- 45 events
- Over 450 volunteers
- Over 1000 bags of litter collected
- Over 1100 hours volunteered
Of course, you don’t have to wait for the Big Cardiff Tidy 2025 to get involved! If you interested in litter picking you can:
- Become a Litter Champion with LWYL.
- Become a Litter Champion with Keep Wales Tidy.
- Join a Community Group Event.
- Borrow equipment from a Keep Wales Tidy Hub for a group event.
